As a coach, Valerie Bynum has worked with young adults for over 20 years improving their communication techniques and soft skills. Students are coached on how to prepare for interviews with college admission officers, alumni and scholarship panels, as well as phone and video interview opportunities.

Her passion is to help students bring their "Best U" to the interview!   

The coaching process uses a variety of technology and proven techniques. Students move through the entire interview process, from attire, etiquette, social media, body language and voice to different interview scenarios and, of course, questions. The majority of coaching time is spent crafting responses to common and school-specific questions based on each student's own unique resume, experiences and personality. Through coaching sessions, high school and college students begin to explore deeply who they are and how to express themselves.  This oral expression process often "spills over" into impactful admission essays and personal empowerment.
